Safianu Ado Ibrahim

Safianu Ado Ibrahim is an experienced Information Management professional currently serving as an Information Management Officer at UNICEF since November 2023. With a robust background in humanitarian support, Safianu previously worked at iMMAP from January 2020 to October 2023, providing crucial Information Management support to the UNICEF Rapid Response Mechanism and various humanitarian partners in Northeast Nigeria. This role included extensive collaboration with UN agencies across multiple sectors, as well as direct support to the Health Sector through a secondment with WHO. Prior experience includes serving as an Information Management Consultant at Action Initiative for Peace and Development, where Safianu designed a database for a World Bank project. Safianu holds a Master of Science in Geography (Environmental Management) and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Maiduguri.
