Joana Koerner

Joana Koerner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Joana started their career as a Guest Relations representative at Hostal Miliets, where they supervised groups of teenagers and organized holiday programs. Later, they joined the Robinson Club as a Guest Relations representative, where they continued to provide excellent customer service in a resort setting. Moving on, Joana worked as a Sales Assistant at Jesters Jaffle Pie Company, handling various responsibilities such as serving customers and managing the shop.

Joana then gained experience in the hospitality industry by working as a Guest Relations staff member on the "Mein Schiff 3" cruise ship for TUI Cruises GmbH. Joana provided top-notch service to guests and ensured their well-being during their vacation. Additionally, they had an internship at Hotel Bayerischer Hof München, where they supported the communications department in social media management and online marketing.

After their internship, Joana joined WeWork as a Community Associate. In this role, they played a key role in launching the Munich market, opening two buildings and connecting like-minded individuals through events. Joana also worked towards meeting sales and occupancy targets and resolved member needs and requests. Furthermore, they served as the Impact Lead in Munich, creating opportunities for social responsibility within the team and members.

Joana then joined Allverta powered by Allianz as a Business Development Manager, where they focused on developing sales areas, training sales managers, and implementing customer success management processes. Joana also conducted analysis and evaluation of business processes and represented the company at trade fairs and events. In addition, they were involved in the research and preparation for the company's upcoming foundation.

Currently, Joana is working at Unicorn Workspaces as the Regional Manager for Munich. Their responsibilities include managing two buildings, overseeing on-site services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving growth and promotion of Unicorn services. Joana is also responsible for coordinating construction works, maintaining relationships with vendors and landlords, and achieving sales goals.

Joana Koerner obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Tourism Management from NHL Stenden, which they attended from 2014 to 2020. In 2017, they also pursued minors in Change and Innovation at Stenden University Qatar and Lodge Management at Stenden University South Africa. Additionally, Joana attended Centennial High School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 2010. Apart from their formal education, Joana has obtained certifications such as Introduction to Coding from SheCodes Workshops in September 2020 and Sales Camp from WeWork in August 2019.
