Matteo Bianconi

Matteo Bianconi is a seasoned digital manager with extensive experience in the banking and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as the Head of Risk & ESG Solutions at UniCredit since March 2014. In this role, Matteo oversees the global delivery of ICT services for Group Risk Management and Group Strategy & ESG, ensuring the calculation and monitoring of key financial risk indicators. Prior positions include leading various digital and IT initiatives related to credit origination, product management, and relationship management with international customers, earning recognition such as a nomination for the Gartner Eye on Innovation Award 2023. Matteo's earlier experience at Calearo Antenne S.P.A. included project management and electronic design, further complemented by an MBA from POLIMI Graduate School of Management and a background in Telecommunications Engineering from Università di Trento.
