Bart Smets

Bart Smets is an experienced software engineer and technical lead currently working at UnifiedPost since December 2018, where responsibilities include managing and coaching multiple offshore teams in the development of large-scale enterprise applications in the AWS Cloud. Prior to this role, Bart served as a DevOps Engineer at UnifiedPost, focusing on maintaining cloud application stability and addressing outages. Additionally, Bart has been a Systems Programmer and Designer at Inventive Designers since August 2012 and worked as a Technical Consultant at Talent Planet from July 2011 to July 2012. Bart holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, specializing in Software Engineering, from the University of Antwerp, completed between 2005 and 2011, and attended Sint Lievenscollege Antwerpen for earlier education from 1999 to 2005.
