Benny Schacht

Benny Schacht is a seasoned professional in the field of intellectual property, currently serving as the Patent and R&D Director at Unilin Technologies since September 2004. Benny has held several key roles within the company, including Manager of the Patent Department and European and Belgian Patent Attorney. Prior to joining Unilin Technologies, Benny worked as a Research Engineer at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven from September 1999 to August 2004. Benny's educational background includes a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Science of Engineering from KU Leuven, as well as a certification as a Belgian Patent Attorney from F.O.D. Economie in 2008, specializing in Mechanics.
