Asha Perera

Asha Perera is an experienced financial executive currently serving as the General Manager of Finance and Planning at Union Assurance PLC since September 2018, while also holding the title of Vice President at John Keells Holdings PLC. Previous roles include Sector Financial Controller for the Plantation Services and IT Sectors at John Keells Holdings from October 2015 to August 2018, and Financial Director at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo from April 2011 to September 2015. Earlier career positions include Finance Manager at John Keells Office Automation, Accountant at Asia Capital PLC and Penguin Sportswear Pvt Ltd, and Management Trainee at Ceylon Knit Trend Pvt Ltd. Asha Perera holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and is an ACMA from CIMA. Additionally, Asha participated in the JKH - NUS Leadership Development Programme at the NUS Business School Executive Education in 2015.
