Kayla Melton

Kayla Melton, M.A., is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in HR support and payroll management. Currently serving as a Human Resources Analyst and previously as a Human Resources Generalist for Union County, NC since October 2019, Kayla has also held HR Generalist roles at Lewis Tree Service Inc. from January 2018 to October 2019, and as a Payroll & HR Specialist at Carolina Tree Care from November 2013 to December 2017. In earlier roles, Kayla gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant at Appalachian State University, where academic focus was on Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Appalachian State University.
