Lindsey Richards

Lindsey Richards has a range of experience in the field of crime investigation and forensic science. Lindsey began their career in 2009 at the Escambia County Sheriff's Office as a Crime Scene Technician. After working there for three years, they joined the Union County Sheriff's Office in 2012. At Union County, Lindsey held the positions of Crime Scene Investigator and Latent Examiner, as well as Crime Laboratory Director. In 2021, they also became an Adjunct Instructor at South Piedmont Community College.

Lindsey Richards' educational journey began at Pensacola State College where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies from 2005 to 2008. Lindsey then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Criminal Justice at the University of West Florida from 2008 to 2010.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Lindsey enrolled at Arizona State University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Criminal Justice between 2015 and 2017. With a growing interest in forensic science, they subsequently attended Oklahoma State University from 2023 to 2024 to earn a Doctor of Forensic Science degree, focusing on Forensic Science.

In addition to their formal education, Lindsey Richards has also obtained a certification as a Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst from the International Association for Identification in February 2022. This certification signifies their expertise in the field and further reinforces their commitment to their chosen profession.
