Heather Vanourney

Heather Vanourney is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as the Manager of Accounts Payable at Union Pacific Railroad since August 2005, Heather supervises clerical staff, manages the utility invoice process, and assists both external and internal customers with invoice payments. Previously held various managerial roles, including Financial Reporting, Streamline Finance, and Payroll Accounting, where responsibilities included maintaining the general ledger, executing billing and collection activities, and processing payroll in SAP. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Staff Accountant at West Corporation, contributing to financial statement preparation and analysis. Heather holds an MBA and a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
