Veronica Wortman Ploetz

Veronica Wortman Ploetz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and corporate communications. Currently serving as Senior Manager HR Business Partner at Union Pacific Railroad since September 2013, Veronica has defined and executed strategies for enterprise-wide learning experiences and developed leadership programs. Previous roles include Talent Development Manager, Training Delivery Manager, and Training Content Program Manager, where Veronica focused on building talent pipelines, delivering experiential learning, and managing instructional design processes. Prior to Union Pacific, Veronica held positions at Nebraska Medicine, where strategic marketing and communication plans were developed, and as a consultant and in various online marketing coordinator roles, Veronica enhanced affiliate marketing networks and executed branding campaigns. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism/Public Relations/Advertising from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
