Larry Williams Jr. has extensive experience in the labor movement and organizational leadership. As President of UnionBase since May 2007, Larry has focused on connecting workers to unions through innovative technology. Previous roles include serving as Executive Director at Black Men Vote and the Labor Network for Sustainability, and founding UnionBase.org. Larry was also the First President and Co-Founder of the Progressive Workers Union, Labor Coordinator at the Sierra Club, and worked with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. In addition, Larry has experience as a Communications Specialist at QRS Media and has contributed to academic discussions as an archivist, writer, and speaker. Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Technology from the University of the District of Columbia and has furthered education in Labor and Industrial Relations at Cornell University.
