Elena Jorov

Elena Jorov has been working in the payments industry for over 14 years. Elena started their career in 2007 as a Payments, Compliance & Risk Manager at Netpay International, where they developed business partnerships with major European acquirers, conducted due diligence and assessed risk for all merchant accounts, and led the risk and compliance team. In 2011, they joined Paypal as an Enterprise Account Manager in Israel, managing a customer portfolio with a turnover of $100M/year. Elena increased sales volumes of existing customers by 20%-40%/year, and analyzed customer accounts, segments and performances. In 2015, they moved to Netpay International as a Senior Payments Project Manager, leading strategic payments projects to support long-term growth and improvement in operations and business. Elena also authored all internal procedures for operational efficiency and compliance with credit card standards, and led new core risk products and functions. In 2017, they joined Splitit as Head of Payment Solutions, where they led core business projects, owned the payments strategy and roadmap, and scaled the company\u2019s payment providers infrastructure from zero. Elena also personally managed a number of large global retail clients. In 2021, they became the VP Payments at UNIPaaS Payment Technologies.

Elena Jorov obtained their MBA from Derby University between 2006 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in Communication from Academic College of Natanya between 2000 and 2003. Elena also holds a certification in Initiating and Planning Projects from the University of California, Irvine.
