Sangita (Gita) Vatave has held a variety of roles in the health care industry over the past 27 years. Sangita (Gita) began their career in 1993 as a Knowledge Manager for the Health Care Practice at the Boston Consulting Group. Sangita (Gita) then worked as a Consultant at Accenture from 1995-1998. In 1998, they became a Senior Consultant for Health Services at PacifiCare Health Systems. In 2004, they transitioned to teaching at the Temecula Valley Unified School District. In 2011, they took on the role of Eastern Regional Director of Quality Improvement at the March of Dimes. In 2013, they became the General Manager and Staff Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at CareMore Health Plan. In 2014, they moved to Emory Healthcare as General Manager. In 2019, they joined Employer Health Solutions as Chief Development Officer. Most recently in 2020, they were appointed President of North America and Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Program Delivery at Uniper.
Sangita (Gita) Vatave's education history is as follows: Sangita (Gita) obtained a B.A. in Natural Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University between 1987 and 1991. Sangita (Gita) then went on to Yale University, where they earned an MPH in Epidemiology between 1991 and 1993. In 2003 and 2004, they obtained a Teaching Credential from California State University San Marcos in Biology, English, and Health Education. Sangita (Gita) also holds a Master of Public Health - MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Yale University.
