Astrid Loomans

Astrid Loomans, MPH, currently serves as a Senior Clinical Trial Manager at uniQure since October 2023. Previously, Astrid held the position of Clinical Trial Manager at Apellis Pharmaceuticals from January 2022 to September 2023. Astrid's extensive experience includes roles such as Lead Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Operations Manager, Epidemiology and Surveillance Specialist, and Clinical Research Associate at Corbus Pharmaceuticals from November 2017 to March 2022. Prior to this, Astrid worked as a Research Study Coordinator and Data Management Intern at Boston Medical Center from 2015 to November 2017. Astrid earned a Master's Degree in Epidemiology from Boston University (2014-2016) and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical and Biological Anthropology from Baylor University (2010-2014), complementing a foundational education at St. John's International School (2006-2010).
