Jasmine Tacneng

Jasmine Tacneng is a Development Engineer at UniSieve AG since April 2023, with prior experience as an Engineering and Energy Transition Intern at Swiss Re, where exploration of decarbonization risks in hard-to-abate industries took place. Jasmine also served as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich's Chair of Sustainable Construction, contributing to a decision-making framework for sustainable energy projects in humanitarian crises for the UNHCR. Additional roles include teaching assistant at the Energy Science Center, an advanced technologies intern at Datwyler Group, and a project engineer at Plasmagear, focusing on plasma-enhanced functional coatings. Previous experience includes mechanical engineering at Scooterson Inc., summer research on carbon fiber recycling at McGill Structures and Composites Laboratory, leadership in powertrain subsystems for McGill Formula Electric, and a DAAD Rise internship at RWTH Aachen University concentrating on spot-welding processes. Jasmine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a Master's degree in Energy Science & Technology from ETH Zürich.
