Charles Bachmeier

Charles Bachmeier has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Starting as a Cancer Researcher at Griffith/Lauffenburger Labs, they conducted cancer research under Prof. Douglas A. Lauffenburger at MIT. Their responsibilities included culturing cancer cell lines, inducing apoptosis, and conducting assays.

Charles then worked as a Software Development Intern at InterSystems, where they designed and built a lightweight Web Based IDE using JavaScript and presented their work to the company's developers.

Next, Charles worked at Capital One as an Associate Software Engineer, contributing to Agile/SCRUM teams and delivering products to consumers and data scientists. Charles collaborated with designers and product managers on UI/UX development and worked on the development of a platform and REST APIs for data scientists.

After that, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, where they led full-stack engineering on a customer-facing mobile application. Charles was involved in various projects, collaborating with design, product, and engineering teams. Charles also built and maintained data engineering infrastructure for feature calculations using customer order data.

In 2022, Charles worked as a Front End Lead at Genie before joining Uniswap Labs as a Senior Software Engineer.

Charles Bachmeier completed their education from 2014 to 2018 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
