Costas Dragonas

Costas Dragonas has extensive work experience in the field of IT governance and management. Costas is currently employed as the Software Unit Manager - Operational Services & CM Unit at UniSystems since September 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director and co-founder of MC - IT Advisory Services OOD starting from July 2020. Before that, they worked as the Managing Director and Shadow Managing Director at BANKTECO e.o.o.d from August 2018 to July 2020. From January 2019 to July 2020, Costas was the IT Governance Sector Manager at NBG. Costas also held various managerial positions at National Bank of Greece between 1999 and 2018, including IT Governance Subdivision Manager, Section Manager - IT Development Division, and Globus Architect/Senior Programmer. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Engineer at DECISION S.A., Software Engineer at ANKO SA, Research Assistant at The University of Manchester, and Programmer/Analyst at Unisys Hellas.

Costas Dragonas obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science - Systems Design from The University of Manchester in 1988-1989. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 1982-1987. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained several certifications including COBIT 5 - Foundation from ISACA in June 2015, ITIL Foundation Level from ITIL in December 2012, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in March 2017.
