Spyros Kalos

Spyros Kalos has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance (QA) and software development. Spyros started their career in 2004 as a Manual Tester at COSMOTE Mobile Telecommunications S.A., where they tested the i-mode functionality in the Greek market. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Software Developer at B&A e-Travel S.A.

In 2007, Spyros joined CHRONOS Ltd. as a Software Development Engineer. Spyros then moved on to Opencomm SA in 2008, where they served as a Senior Software Development Engineer, specializing in the development of desktop applications for Contact Center CTI solutions.

In 2014, Spyros joined Unify as a Senior QA Automation Engineer. In this role, they ensured the quality assurance of Telecom and Unified Communication products. Their responsibilities included testing desktop and web apps, phone devices, and telecommunication protocols. Spyros also created and executed automation tests, maintained existing automation frameworks, and researched test tools and methodologies. Additionally, Spyros built automation frameworks and tools for new projects, collaborated with agile development teams, and oversaw the automation software release process. Spyros also mentored SDETs in designing and implementing automation frameworks.

From 2022 to 2023, Spyros worked at Upwork as a Senior QA Automation Engineer. Following that, they joined ARHS Developments Hellas as a QA Automation Engineer Test Lead in 2022 and later moved to Uni Systems in the same role in 2023.
