Michael Moskal

Michael Moskal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the culinary and labor sectors. Currently serving as Secretary-Treasurer & Business Manager and President at UNITE HERE since April 2018, alongside previous roles as a Union Representative, Michael has demonstrated leadership and advocacy for workers' rights. Prior culinary positions include Executive Chef at both Ramada Ottawa On The Rideau and Southway Hotel, as well as Chef de Partie at the University of Ottawa. Michael's educational background includes a Cuisine Diploma from Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Institute and a Business Administration diploma with a focus on Human Resources from Algonquin College. Additionally, a high school diploma was earned from St. Paul's Catholic High School.
