Sarang Bapat currently serves as the Director of Data Engineering at United Airlines, responsible for leading the Data Product and Innovation team to develop data and analytics strategies and create real-time actionable insights. Prior roles at United include Senior Manager of Innovation and Modernization in Enterprise Data Analytics, where Sarang oversaw cross-functional data projects, and Manager of Marketing Data Optimization, focusing on targeted revenue-generating campaigns. Sarang's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Oracle DBA, managing various database responsibilities, and as a Senior Analyst Industrial Engineer, developing tools for staffing predictions. Sarang began professional experience as an IE Intern at Continental Airlines. Sarang holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Engineering from Nagpur University.
