Anna Mae Starkey is an experienced professional in the field of archaeology and cultural heritage management. Currently serving as the Cultural Regulatory Manager for the United Auburn Indian Community since July 2019, Starkey previously held positions as Principal Archaeological Investigator and Senior Environmental Planner at Drake Haglan and Associates, and as Principal Archaeological Investigator at North State Resources. Prior experience includes serving as the Archaeological Laboratory Director at AECOM and as an Archaeological Technician at Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. Anna Mae Starkey holds a Master's degree in Archaeology and Heritage Management from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from California State University-Sacramento.
