Celene Alva

Celene Alva, CIA, is an experienced professional with a diverse background in regulatory compliance and internal auditing. Since July 2014, Celene has served as the Regulatory Compliance Manager for the United Auburn Indian Community, following a role as Staff Internal Auditor. Prior experience includes positions at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, where Celene worked in hotel operations and accounting revenue audit, and at Homewood Suites by Hilton in hotel operations. Celene began their career as a Project Manager at Caspian Group, overseeing various software infrastructure projects. Celene earned a Master's degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco between 1996 and 1999.
