Heikki Patrik Kauppinen

Heikki Patrik Kauppinen is an experienced leader in renewable energy and legal affairs, currently serving as the Group Chairman of Salika Group since April 2014, where the focus is on developing and operating sustainable energy assets across Europe, Asia, and Africa. In addition to this role, Heikki is a Senior Advisor at United Bankers, overseeing in-house project origination and partnerships in renewable energy, and a Partner and Board Member at Tuulikolmio, a subsidiary focused on renewable energy development. As the Managing Partner of Currentfin Ltd, Heikki provides outsourced business development and legal services to SMEs in sustainable technologies. Previous positions include roles at DD-Ready as Co-Founder and Chairman, AW-Energy Oy handling business development for wave energy technology, and various legal counsel positions at Intel Security Group and BMC Software. Heikki holds an LL.B. in Commercial Law from Durham University and an LL.M. in Contract and Commercial Law from the University of Helsinki.
