Doug Charriere has extensive experience in supply chain and operations management. Doug started their career at Canadian Pacific Railway in 1996, where they served as the SCM Manager for the Energy department. In this role, they oversaw sourcing, procurement, logistics, budgeting, and payment processes for various energy resources. Doug held this position until 2010 when they joined Suncor Energy as the SCM Manager for Sourcing. In 2011, they moved to Sanjel Corporation, where they served as the Corporate Supply Chain Manager for Materials & Logistics Management until 2016. Currently, they work at United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Limited as the Senior Director of Operations, Supply & Pricing.

Doug Charriere completed their education in the field of accounting. Doug first attended the University of Manitoba from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a B Comm degree in Accounting. Afterward, from 1989 to 1991, they attended Certified Management Accountants - Manitoba, where they received their CPA certification in Accounting.
