Trish Nixon (she/her)

Trish Nixon currently serves as the Corporate Affairs & Media Relations | Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Team Lead at United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Limited, a position held since June 2017. In this role, Trish Nixon facilitates effective communication across teams to align dialogue with the brand's core values, while also managing media relations to maintain a positive public image. Prior experience includes roles in corporate affairs at the Calgary Board of Education and as the Director of Communications at Calgary Rural Primary Care Network. Trish Nixon also held the position of Senior Communications Advisor at Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation from January 2005 to June 2013. Educational credentials include ongoing studies in Indigenous Studies at First Nations University of Canada, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Media Studies and Journalism from the University of Regina.
