Gene Berry

Gene Berry is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and financial management across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at United Flea Markets since April 2017, Gene previously held the role of VP Finance within the same organization, contributing to the efficient operations of flea markets in Colorado and Florida. Prior to this, Gene was Controller at Mile High Flea Market, overseeing financial processes for the largest open-air shopping destination in the Rocky Mountain region. Gene has also held positions as Controller at SmartMove, Inc., where a significant $1M NIH grant was secured, and as Owner of Take 2 Success, specializing in implementing corporate best practices for small and mid-sized companies. Gene’s extensive tenure at Hewlett Packard encompassed various roles, culminating in the position of Director of Finance for the Storage Division, where management of substantial budgets and strategic planning took place. Gene holds degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.
