Matti Valkonen

Matti Valkonen is the Chief Financial Officer at United Imaginations FI since October 2023, focusing on driving profitable growth through a comprehensive financial strategy and collaboration with the executive team. Previously, Matti served as CFO at Houston Inc. from June 2007 to May 2023, where significant involvement in business operations and strategy was emphasized, alongside a commitment to enhance profitability and address financial challenges within the corporation. Additional experience includes consultancy in credit system design for a large Finnish bank and project management utilizing Agile methodologies. Matti has also held a board member position at Houston Analytics Ltd from January 2014 to June 2021 and served as a service advisor at Sampo Pankki Oyj from November 2005 to June 2007. Matti holds a Master of Science in Economics from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu and a Business Controller Executive degree from Aalto University.
