Geraldine Walsh has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Geraldine started their career as an Assistant Manager at PwC in 2003, where they were responsible for planning, executing, and completing engagements, as well as reviewing financial statements and management reports.

Geraldine then worked at Macquarie Group as a Technical Advisor on IFRS, where they played a crucial role in the adoption of IFRS 7 standards and provided technical training to business unit accountants.

After that, Geraldine joined Boston Scientific as a Financial Accountant and later moved to Dexia as a Senior Financial Accountant. In these roles, they prepared financial information for management accounts, conducted P&L and balance sheet reviews, and supervised junior accountants.

Geraldine also worked as a General Ledger Accountant at Abbott Medical Optics and as a Financial Accountant at Micros Fidelio Ireland. At Micros Fidelio, they were responsible for preparing US GAAP accounts, analyzing balance sheets, reconciling inter-company accounts, and managing system upgrades.

Geraldine's most recent experience includes working at Oracle as a Senior Financial Accountant and at United Language Group as a Finance Manager, Director of Finance, and currently as the Vice President of Finance.

Geraldine Walsh attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a degree in FAE (2005) without a specific field of study mentioned. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Galway from 1999 to 2002, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Business/Commerce, General. Following their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Masters in Accounting at the University of Galway from 2002 to 2003.
