Luvuyo Mdala

Luvuyo Mdala is an experienced professional in the mining sector, currently serving as Acting Pit Superintendent at United Manganese of Kalahari (Pty) Ltd since May 2022, responsible for managing the movement of manganese and road infrastructure. Previously held the position of Mining Engineering Graduate, where engagement in a blasting certificate program provided foundational knowledge in mining operations. Luvuyo's background includes a role as Production Analyst at Master Drilling Group Ltd, focusing on monitoring raise boring machines and reporting on production metrics. As a Project Intern at Implats, research was conducted on health and safety impacts on productivity, and academic tutoring experience was gained at the University of the Witwatersrand. Luvuyo's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mining from the University of the Witwatersrand.
