Abraham Byamungu

Abraham Byamungu is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial advisory and project development, currently serving as a Senior Finance Specialist at UNCDF since May 2014. In this role, Abraham provides support for Local Economic Development projects across multiple African nations while ensuring compliance with internal controls and donor requirements. Previously, Abraham held significant positions such as Credit Manager at Exim Bank Tanzania Limited and Barclays Bank Tanzania, along with a managerial role in Management Accounting at KPMG Tanzania. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Financial Economics from the University of Leicester and an ACCA Qualification. Additionally, foundational education in Banking and Finance was obtained at the University of Dar es Salaam.
