Anisa Hussein MSc RIBA MRICS is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, communication, and media advisory roles. Currently serving as a Communication and Media Advisor at the United Nations ESCAP since November 2020, Anisa previously worked as a Grants Associate at Fortify Rights and held various positions focusing on visual communications and partnerships at Baan Dek Foundation and Dao Social Enterprise. Anisa's architectural career began as an Architectural Assistant and progressed through roles at notable firms such as Bennetts Associates Architects, where Anisa contributed significantly to the award-winning Potterrow development for the University of Edinburgh. Anisa holds multiple degrees in architecture and project management, including an MSc from Heriot-Watt University and qualifications from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
