Nicolas Patoine-Hamel currently serves as a Consultant for Population and Social Statistics at the United Nations ESCAP, focusing on civil registration and vital statistics, data integration for official statistics, and applying research methods since May 2023. Previously, Nicolas held the position of Demography Research Assistant at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique from May 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included demographic projections and dynamic microsimulation.
