Human Rights Officer - Coordinator, Human Rights Due Diligence Team at United Nations Human Rights

Alexander Loden has extensive experience in human rights and transitional justice, currently serving as a Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights since October 2014, with roles including Coordinator for the Human Rights Due Diligence Team and positions focusing on global policies and the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to this, Alexander worked with United Nations Peacekeeping from November 2011 to October 2014, leading teams in reporting and analysis as well as southern regional operations. Alexander's career also includes roles at the United Nations Human Rights Office, The Journal of Peacebuilding and Development, Goldsmiths, University of London, and the International Center for Transitional Justice. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oxford, a Master of Arts from the University of Essex, a Post-graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, and completion of the Bar Professional Training Course at City, University of London.
