Carlos Eduardo Pinacho Candelaria is a Human Rights Officer with extensive experience in human rights advocacy and legal support. Currently employed at the United Nations Human Rights since April 2019, Carlos has served in various roles, including UNV Human Rights Officer and Intern, where responsibilities included drafting reports on the human rights conditions of indigenous peoples and minorities, as well as monitoring their needs. Prior to this, Carlos worked as a Law Clerk at the Federal Electoral Court, contributing to judicial decision drafts, and engaged as a Visiting Professional at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, focusing on contentious cases and international jurisprudence. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master’s in Constitutional Law and Human Rights from Universidad Panamericana, and a Bachelor's in Law from Universidad Anáhuac de Oaxaca.
