Dennis Ngoga

Dennis Ngoga is a Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights since July 2019, with prior experience in the same role at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan from December 2014 to July 2019, focusing on investigating and reporting gross human rights violations. Previously, Dennis served as a Human Rights and Legal Associate at the African Union Commission from October 2011 to July 2014, where responsibilities included monitoring human rights implementation and providing technical assistance. A Child Rights Consultant at UNICEF in 2011, Dennis developed advocacy strategies for the ratification of child rights charters. Additional roles include a Legal Intern at both the African Union Commission and the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, where tasks involved legal research and supporting court proceedings.
