Johan Autio

Johan Autio has nearly two decades of experience in teaching philosophy and theory of knowledge across three continents and four countries. Currently a teacher at the United Nations International School since July 2013, Johan also serves as a coordinator for Theory of Knowledge. Johan's teaching approach integrates a variety of disciplines, including history, psychology, anthropology, economics, and sociology. Additionally, Johan works as an IB online workshop leader for the International Baccalaureate and has previously held positions in various educational institutions, where responsibilities included teaching, coordinating Extended Essays, and implementing technology in education. Johan also possesses extensive educational qualifications, holding multiple degrees from the University of Helsinki and the Hong Kong Institute of Education, specializing in philosophy, educational leadership, and secondary education.
