Zanofer Ismalebbe currently serves as the Chief of Knowledge Management and Research at the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) since October 2020, focusing on innovation in research and outreach mechanisms. Previously held key positions in the UNDP, including Team Leader for UN System Affairs and Officer-in-Charge of the UN System Affairs Group, overseeing intergovernmental relations and strategic positioning. With extensive experience in policy analysis, Zanofer contributed as a Senior Policy Specialist in the Executive Office of the UN Secretary-General and held various roles in UN agencies, including UNICEF and UNHCR. Zanofer's academic qualifications include a Master of Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, among other credentials.
