Geoffrey Rogers

Geoffrey Rogers is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and supporting analytical environments. Currently serving as the Manager of Data Engineering at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) since March 2020, Geoffrey leads a team focused on leveraging technologies such as Python, MSSQL, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake Storage to create efficient ETL workflows and optimize data models. Prior to UNOS, Geoffrey held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Capital One, where significant contributions were made to a regulatory compliance project involving the integration of data from over 60 systems. Geoffrey's earlier roles include various co-op positions at IBM, contributing to software deployment and development, as well as a Programmer Analyst role at Dominion Energy, focused on SCADA EMS improvements. Geoffrey holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
