Joel Newman

Joel Newman currently serves as a Senior Communications Strategist at UNOS, a position held since October 1992, where responsibilities include developing and coordinating communications activities to enhance public trust in the national transplant system. In addition, Joel has a history of supervising staff involved in media relations and online content. Prior to UNOS, Joel worked as a Physician Marketing Associate at Covenant Health from June 1990 to October 1992, managing marketing and public relations for medical services and overseeing a physician referral network. Joel holds a Master of Science in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from Virginia Tech.
