Rahmi Cheng

Rahmi Cheng serves as the CIO and Country Head of Technology & Operations for UOB in China since December 2021, where responsibilities include developing and implementing technology strategies, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring compliance and risk management for various banking functions. Previous roles include Managing Director at Accenture, Chief Operating Officer at Pearson for the Greater China Region, and other leadership positions at ANZ and Standard Chartered Bank, where significant achievements involved operational transformation, budget management, and establishing outsourcing entities. Rahmi Cheng holds an M.Sc in Electronics from King's College London and a B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester.
