Stephen Au

Stephen Au has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Stephen started their career at RBS in 2006, where they held various roles such as Nostro Reconciliation and Equity Derivatives Operations. In these positions, they were responsible for investigating and resolving breaks, handling customer queries, and conducting analysis to improve processes. From 2010 to 2011, Stephen worked in Treasury Operations, where they resolved FXMM and FX Option related breaks. Stephen then joined Credit Suisse in 2016 as an Assistant Vice President for Regulatory Oversight. In this role, they provided policy guidance, issued guidance documents, and provided management information and escalation of issues. Stephen currently works at UOB as a Vice President, where they partner with Operations Leads to provide risk and control advice, conducts annual reviews of processes and procedures, and engages with auditors and compliance teams to enhance controls.

Stephen Au obtained a Diploma of Business Studies in Marketing from Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1999 to 2002. Stephen later pursued a Bachelor of Business (Management) in Marketing from RMIT University from 2005 to 2006. In addition, they have received certifications in Leadership: People, Teams and Organization from Emeritus and Settlements Operations Training Course from ACI Singapore.
