Todd Scott

Todd Scott, PE, currently serves as a Mechanical Engineer at United Protective Technologies since August 2023. Prior to this role, Todd was the Lead Product Development Engineer at CYBEX from August 2018 to August 2023, and held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer II at MSI Defense Solutions, LLC from April 2016 to August 2018. Earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Jacobsen, a Textron Company, from June 2014 to April 2016, and an internship at Cessna Aircraft Company in the summer of 2013, contributing to the redesign validation of the Citation X. Additional internships were completed at Johnson Controls and Caterpillar Inc. between 2011 and 2012. Todd obtained a Master’s degree in Product Design in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014 and a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University in 2012.
