Gardner Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Gardner started their career in 2011 as a Technician at Direct Power. In 2013, they worked as a Grounds Keeper at Sunshine Farms for three years. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Greens Staff at Balsam Mountain Preserve. From 2016 to 2016, Gardner had a Summer Internship at Direct Power Inc., where they gained experience in market research, re-branding, web content writing, and SEO development.
In 2017, they transitioned to the automotive industry and worked as a Finance Manager at Toyota of Gastonia/ Momentum Mazda until 2020. Their responsibilities in this role included financial management and customer service.

In addition to their formal education, Gardner Taylor has obtained several certifications. In April 2021, they received certification in Fiber Optics and Data Cabling (AFI/AFT) from 3C Dynamics, Inc. In March 2021, they completed the OSCHA 30 training program at the OSHA Safety Training Institute. Lastly, in January 2021, Gardner Taylor obtained the NFP70E certification from NFPA.
