Kristo Nuutila

Principal Investigator, Research Scientist at United States Army

Kristo Nuutila is a highly experienced research scientist and principal investigator with a strong background in regenerative medicine and pharmacology. Currently serving in the US Army since September 2020, Kristo previously held positions as the director of research at Applied Tissue Technologies from August 2017 to September 2020, and as a researcher at Harvard Medical School and laboratory director at Brigham and Women's Hospital from May 2014 to September 2020. Kristo's academic credentials include a post-doctorate in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering from Harvard Medical School, an adjunct professorship in regenerative pharmacology from the University of Helsinki, a PhD in pharmacology and regenerative medicine from the University of Helsinki, and a master's degree in chemical engineering from Aalto University.
