Carolina Buendia Sarmiento has experience working as a Research & Evaluation Specialist at the United States Institute of Peace. Carolina is currently a Doctoral Student at the University of Helsinki, focusing on women's rights in Finland's development cooperation in Kenya. Carolina has also worked as a Consultant at Suomen Lähetysseura, Felm, and Demos Helsinki, providing research, analysis, and support in various projects related to peacebuilding, psychosocial support, and development.
