Elizabeth Shillings is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in peace processes and international relations. Currently serving as a Senior Program Specialist at the United States Institute of Peace, Elizabeth has been involved in facilitating interorganizational exercises and managing logistical aspects of events focused on critical global issues. Previous roles include Visiting Research Fellow at the U.S. Department of State and Policy & Advocacy Intern at Search for Common Ground, where Elizabeth contributed to research, policy development, and event execution. Educated at Georgetown University, pursuing a Master's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, and holding a Bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in Business/Economics, Political Science, and Peace & Conflict Studies, Elizabeth's academic background complements a strong professional trajectory in promoting inclusive peace and international cooperation.
