Alissa Tafti is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international trade and economics. Currently serving as an International Trade Analyst (Agriculture and Fisheries) and International Economist at the U.S. International Trade Commission since September 2013, Alissa has a strong foundation in research and analysis, having previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies from 2011 to 2012 and as an Analyst at the Institute for State Effectiveness from 2008 to 2011. Early career roles include Coordinator for Motion Picture Literary at the William Morris Agency and Assistant at Red Wagon Entertainment. Alissa holds a BA in Comparative Literature and Philosophy from New York University and an MA in International Relations and International Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS. Additionally, Alissa is an alumna of The Thacher School.
