Major Adam Barsuhn serves as the Executive Officer to the Dean and an Instructor of International Affairs in the Department of Social Sciences. After graduating from the United States Military Academy, Adam commissioned as an Armor officer and joined 4th Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment in Germany. He then deployed to Kandahar in 2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, serving as a platoon leader. Upon return, he served as a troop executive officer and deployed to Latvia in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. After transitioning to military intelligence, Adam joined the 704th Military Intelligence Brigade at Fort Meade, Maryland. He served as an operations officer in the National Security Agency, deploying to Afghanistan in 2017 in support of Operation Freedom Sentinel/Resolute Support. After redeployment, he served as the company commander of C Co, 741st MI BN, 704th MI BDE. Adam received a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from USMA and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
