Katherine McCarthy

Katherine McCarthy is an experienced professional currently serving as the Donor Relations Manager at the United States Navy Memorial since July 2023. Previously, Katherine held the position of Vice President on the Board of Directors for The Hank Sasser Foundation from August 2015 to July 2023, where involvement included guiding the organization through incorporation and developing sustainable operational practices. In addition, Katherine directed operations at the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society in Rota, Spain, supervising and training over 50 staff members from June 2020 to July 2022. Katherine's earlier roles include teaching English at Santa Clara High School in Oxnard, California, and serving as a Case Manager for unaccompanied refugee minors with Lutheran Children and Family Services of Eastern Pennsylvania, focusing on providing essential post-arrival services. Katherine holds a Master's Degree in International Human Rights from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's Degree in International Area Studies and Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.
