Sami Gothberg is a seasoned mental health professional specializing in sports and performance psychology. Currently serving as the Manager of Mental Health and Wellness Programs at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee since January 2023, Sami has previously worked as a School and Sport Based Clinician at Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy, where Sami provided counseling to over 250 competitive student athletes. With a background as a Clinical Therapist and Mental Performance Consultant, Sami has developed expertise in various therapeutic approaches, including solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Sami holds a Master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver and has participated in advanced management training at Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth.
